Mei and a Spinal Cord Injury Patient
This is Mei with a patient who had an incomplete spinal cord injury in 2006. He had severe lower back pain and spasticity in the legs. He had received many acupuncture treatments, but the symptoms persisted. Then he came to Mei and the first question he asked was "Will I be able to walk later?" After he received a few treatments from her, he was able to walk with crutches for over eight blocks.
